It performs a line-by-line diff algorithm to identify added lines, removed lines, and unchanged content. Within changed lines, character-level highlighting pinpoints the exact characters that differ, making it easy to spot even the smallest edits. This is the same type of comparison used in code review tools and version control systems, adapted for any kind of text content. Added lines appear highlighted in green on the right side, removed lines appear in red on the left side, and unchanged lines display in both columns without highlighting. Within changed lines, individual character differences are marked with darker green or red backgrounds for precise identification.
