The Attendance Sheet Generator produces a full monthly attendance grid for any number of employees. It auto-generates date columns, lets you toggle attendance status per cell, and calculates summary counts for present, absent, leave, and medical certificate days.
An attendance sheet is a record-keeping document that tracks whether employees are present, absent, or on leave for each working day within a given period. Organizations use attendance sheets to monitor punctuality, calculate payroll deductions, comply with labour regulations, and analyse workforce availability. Traditional paper-based sheets are being replaced by digital tools that automate date generation and status counting, reducing clerical errors and saving time for HR departments.
Select a month and year, then add employee names. Click Generate Sheet to create a grid with one column per calendar day and one row per employee. Click any cell to cycle through status codes: P for present, A for absent, L for leave, and M for medical certificate. Summary columns at the right automatically tally each status. Use the Print button to produce a hard copy or PDF. All data remains in your browser.
